TEAM HISTORY
Founded with a vision to bring elite female wrestling to the Big Ten landscape, the Women's Wrestling Club of Purdue began as a small group of dedicated athletes training in repurposed spaces. Over the years, we have evolved into a competitive program recognized for its technical prowess and unwavering spirit.
Our journey is marked by significant milestones, including our first sanctioned dual meet in 2021 and consistent podium representations at national club tournaments. We honor every wrestler who paved the way for the current generation of Boilermakers.
TEAM CULTURE
Culture at Purdue is built on the pillars of discipline, community, and respect. We operate as a family, where upperclassmen mentor incoming recruits, and every victory is shared collectively. Our mat is a space for growth, not just as athletes, but as leaders.
Beyond training, we engage in community outreach and academic excellence initiatives, ensuring our members represent the Purdue 'Ever True' motto in all facets of university life.
