A senior in the 110-lb weight class, co-captain Adriana Sanchez embodies the championship spirit and technical precision of the Purdue Women's Wrestling Club.

Beginning her wrestling journey as a sophomore at Purdue Polytechnic high school, Adriana has consistently made strides to be her best self. At Purdue, she has transitioned from a promising freshman to the club's primary competitions leader. Beyond her skills at freestyle, Adriana is a dedicated mentor, fostering a team culture of resilience, grit, and mutual support. Her personal aspirations reach far beyond collegiate duals; she trains with the unwavering goal of representing the Boilermakers on the national stage, balancing regional title pursuits with an excellence in her studies that mirrors her fierce performance in the arena.

2026 • USAW Club National Freestyle Champion

The USA Wrestling Women's Collegiate Club National Championships is a USA Wrestling-sanctioned women's freestyle open tournament created to provide a true national championship opportunity for college athletes who do not have access to NCAA or NAIA championship events. This win provides the opportunity to attend an Olympic Training Camp during the summer.

2025 • John Carroll University Round Robin Champion
